Update on the video

We had been working very hard to try to get our video to the best of our ability. We had a first deadline at the beginning of March, where we received feedback of how to make our videos better.

This is some of the feedback which we were given and we have also incorporated our own ideas to make the video even better. This included band shots and different ways of portraying the genre to make it more exciting for the target audience of the 16-25 age category. We also have to constantly refer back to the level 4 criteria to produce the best quality video we can.

Level 4 Specification 48–60 marks

There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of most of the following technical skills:

- holding a shot steady, where appropriate;
- framing a shot, including and excluding elements as appropriate;
- using a variety of shot distances as appropriate;
- shooting material appropriate to the task set;
- selecting mise-en-scène including colour, figure, lighting, objects and setting;
- editing so that meaning is apparent to the viewer;
- using varied shot transitions and other effects selectively and appropriately for the task set;
- using sound with images and editing appropriately for the task set;
- using titles appropriately.
